Mum, Today would have been your 57th Birthday and I am thinking of you on your special day as I do every day. You sometimes used to come and visit me on your birthday so today I am thinking back to those happy memories. I have been missing you more than words can describe but I know that you are still with us, guiding us and you will always be there even though we cannot see you. And lately if times have felt tough I just think of how brave and strong you always were even in the most difficult of times, you were still smiling, and it gives me strength-as Karen said, I too feel if I can be half as couragous as you were I will be doing brilliantly.
