A few years ago, while I was recuperating at home after an operation, I received a bunch of beautiful bunch of flowers out of the blue. I read the get well soon note to find they were from my Aunt, Linda, and my Uncle, Philip. I phoned saying how pleased I was and thanked them for their kind thoughts. Phil said Linda was the one who had chosen them and sent them to me from them both. I was touched by this and it made me reflect on the constant connection she created with her communications over the years. I have always had good intentions to make some communication and failed and in the meantime the years go flashing by. When I found out Linda was so ill I had the urge to return the kind thoughts and send her a beautiful bunch of flowers she could enjoy on her return from Hospital. Sadly, and to my great regret, she passed on before I could do this. The last time I saw Linda she came to make a special visit to see me whilst on Holiday nearby. Linda was a family person and always kept in touch. I will probably still fail in my endeavours to stay in touch in spite of my very best of intentions. But, Linda has inspired me to try again and keep in touch with friends and family. Tomorrow is a long way off, but, you never do really know if today is going to be the very last time you may speak to that special person. Make each day count. I have a picture of my Grandmothers back garden at her 80th birthday celebration. There we all are in a long line all together – all the family. All my love to you all Janet
