To Phil, Karen, Alison & Caroline We first met Linda and Phil through our daughter Julie’s special friendship with Caroline. They have been inseparable since play school, like twins. We saw each other regularly over the years attending many school events, swimming lessons, galas, dancing lessons and competitions etc, etc, etc. Caroline and Julie shared many birthdays, including their 18th and 21st parties, where Linda undertook most of the organising. Over the years our associations developed into true friendship and we all feel privileged for have knowing Linda and you all. We wish that we could turn the clock back and find that miracle cure. If we could, the world would be a far better place if Linda were still with us. God has taken Linda much too early. He has taken our friend. He has taken an exceptional mother to the girls and wife to Philip. However, our memories are of happier times, Linda’s smiling face and the warmth she shared with us all.
